Overshare x Nothingbutadreamer

Well another Magic Millions has been completed with RECORD prices. The Bred For Success team was up there and inspected a number of horses. However we don't buy for the sake of it- horses have to meet our criteria of being well bred so that they have residual value, sound racing propositions so that we can have fun on the track, and of course be good value.
While we didn't buy a horse in the sale, we did somewhat come home with a horse completing a private sale with this lovely OVERSHARE filly. Overshare is of course the first season sire of our flagship inaugural filly First Class Molley whom we have high hopes for and OTI Racing's Golden Slipper hope, LADY LAGUNA.
Overshare is proving to grow in popularity with a top sale of $220,00 at this years Magic Millions to be trained by Australia's leading trainer Chris Waller. His sale average of $125,000 put him ahead of spruik stallions such as Pariah, American Pharaoh, Frosted, and Lean Mean Machine.
Breeders have once again flocked to him, supporting him with 130 mares this breeding season, an incredible amount for a stallion who is only into his first season of runners, indicating that the breeding industry expect big results from his progeny.
Apart from being a son of star stallion I AM INVINCBLE out of stakes winner SAVANNAH'S CHOICE, a REDOUTE'S CHOICE Mare, Overshare descends from one of Japan's racing greatest family which includes American and Japanese Oaks winners CESARIO and stallions EPHIANEIA, LEONTES and freshman recent superstar SATURNALIA. Even B4S owner's own REAL PEACE is from this family.
But what gets us really excited with this filly is the family of Nothingbutadreamer.
By shuttle stallion DREAM AHEAD, a performer in its own right, although Nothingbutadreamer was only placed, she is a full sister to INTUERI. He was a tough, tough gelding who gave his owners good bang for his buck, winning in both Sydney and Melbourne and stakes of over $275,000.
She is also a half sister to ALMALAD, the champion 2yo colt of 2013-2014 who was the winner of the group 1 JJ Atkins at 2, beating champion colt and sires Brazen Beau and Time for War and the Group 2 Stutt Stakes at 3 beating the likes of Kumaon, Mihany, Chivalry and Zululand.
In 2013-2014 SAMAREADY made it a rare family double by being crowned Champion Female Sprinter in Australia. She was a superstar 2yo, winning the group 1 Blue Diamond, the Group 2 Reisling, the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude and coming 3rd in the G1 Golden Slipper. She wasn't a one campaign wonder, she trained on and found more Group 1 success in the AJ Moir Stakes.
In the Moir, she demolished a genuine WFA field which included stars and sires such as Buffering, Moment of Change, Bel Sprinter, Epulette and Snitzerland.
Speed and prestige in this family is also demonstrated by Exilarates, the brilliant daughter of Samaready bought by Godolphin whom subsequently won the 2yo Magic Millions.
Finally, the family has also shown it can throw longeivity into the progeny too. Amongst its members is the much loved legend County Tyrone a 9 time winner of $2.3 million in stakes. He was a 3 time Group 1 winner of the Sydney Cup, Metropolitan Handicap and Queensland Derby, but was known for racing at the highest level of racing consistently for a long time.
The Magic Millions showed that this family is highly regarded by good judges in racing, when leading bloodstock agent John Foote went to $220,000 for a filly out of an unraced half sister to Notanotherdreamer.
Overshare
Our promising filly was secured on terms considerably less for our private clients. If you are interested in our private syndicates please inquire with us, as we do not publicly sell.
The filly is currently spelling and growing at Rheinwood in Mittagong before going to be broken in at Bimbadeen Park with leading breaker Shane Rose. She will be trained by 4-time Golden Slipper winning trainer, Clarry Conners.
