What better time for a first season sire to notch up his first two winners than the week before Magic Millions?

Spieth was a top racehorse, now a stallion

Spieth has done just that.

For Bred For Success such news holds extra interest as Spieth is the sire of the first foal of our very first broodmare syndication. Getting involved in a broodmare syndication means following the success or otherwise of the sires of the various progeny, meaning that when such sires kicks goals and creates market interest in the foals, that could mean that the value of your foal increases.

The first winner was on Friday for leading Tasmanian trainer, Adam Trinder with Jaguar Stone (Spieth x Tale of the Cat), a $37,000 2021 Gold Coast Magic Millions purchase.

Aquis farm didn't have to wait long for their stallion with another winner coming from their own trainer in Kacy Fogden with a bargain basement $4,000 buy in Wild Botanica (Spieth x Colosimo).

At this years Magic Millions, Spieth is represented with a strong draft of 5 horses. His universal appeal to breeders is represented by the fact that a variety of farms present yearlings from Spieth, including Lime Country, Waylon Stud, Bowness, Valiant, and Newhaven Stud.

Bred For Success will undoubtedly be inspecting Lot 304 by Lime Country (pictured).

Not only is this filly a stunning strong, striking type, but the pedigree is littered with black type.

It's dam My Lady's Chamber was a listed winner but most notably Group 1 placed in the high rating Flight Stakes. She is a three quarter sister to Group 1 winner of the Coolmore Classic, Regal Cheer and the dam of Knoydart, who came 2nd in a BTC classic.

The other horses are in book 2 but represent tremendous value for those interested in a stallion who appears to be on the up.
